Training Delivery
Challenge:
Premier Oil, a growing FTSE 250 oil and gas production company, chose to upskill staff to MS Office 2007 and MS Lync across three key business locations. This was carried out in line with their desktop refresh programme. Premier Oil appointed Appetite to assist with learning design and delivery.
Solution:
- Design & deliver short conversion modules to introduce new features of Office 2007 with content tailored to Premier Oil's requirements.
- Design & deliver short courses to introduce MS Lync
- Run advanced sessions to deliver task-orientated training, covering areas which most challenged employees
Results:
- Employees were able to share information around the organisation quickly and easily
- Close working relationship between Premier Oil and Appetite ensured continous improvement in service delivery
- Maximised learning impact through customised sessions delivered by experienced IT Learning Consultants
- Reduction in the time for staff to upskill
