Challenge:
To help a local charitable organisation gain the skills necessary to produce top quality marketing materials for a planned charity fundraising events. The charity does great work with a very limited budget and so Appetite offered to help them free of charge.
Solution:
- Discuss with the client the current skill sets of the charity members and the software available to them.
- Design informal workshops where various ideas would be explored and achievable objectives set.
- Provide on-the-job training where ideas were expanded and clarified using Microsoft Publisher 2007.
- Provide funds to cover all full-colour printing costs.
Results:
The charity produced outstanding materials which helped increase their fund-raising for local children. The charity members now have the skills necessary to repeat these results in the future.
The training and support we have received from Appetite has been of tremendous value to the charity. The trainers professionalism and easy-to-understand method of training have helped us to carry out our own marketing tasks much more efficiently and effectively. This has saved us a lot of money.
