Technology and thinking differently

It was with great sadness that we heard about the death of Steve Jobs today. Apple commented that they had lost a visionary and creative genius. To have achieved all he did was more than talent and luck, it was a real belief to do things differently.

It is this motto by which he lived his life, which has always inspired and shaped they way we try to doing things here at Appetite.  Perfectionism in getting things right and  commitment to making things simple and easy to use. Also an empathetic understanding of the customer – to see what they really want and combine this with the right technology. 

Steve Jobs and Apple have introduced the world to so much new technology and it’s hard to imagine life without it. But this got me to wondering if with all the new technology that is available, have all the new tools only made our lives more complicated and how do you choose the right tools that makes sense for your business. 

Technology is as much part of our lives now as a member of our family.  It’s made our working lives easier, and we can perform activities online and connect with colleagues globally at the touch of a button.
